bunny tried to climb into the shower today while i occupied it. i was surprised she seemed interested in the water since coop hated it so much. i decided to let her in and she had a decent time. i thought she looked pretty funny though when she was all wet.

exactly two months after coop left us, he has already been replaced by my family. i am not happy about this new little dog that thinks she can take coop’s place. although she seems really cute and like a perfectly capable dog, i’m just nowhere near ready.
once again we have a perfect little black cocker. too bad she has the job of filling the shoes of the michael jordan of dogs. and we all know from basketball history (penny hardaway, kwame brown) that this is not possible.

paris at night (find a happy place, find a happy place)

i found this photo of paris tonight. i love it. paris at night is one of my favorite things ever. i may be somewhat nontraditional with this viewpoint, but my most favorite part of paris at night is when the eiffel tower lights up every hour. that’s where i go when i need to forget the present, i’m just standing there across the seine watching in awe as the lights flash. my last night in paris, before returning home after a night out, i went to my favorite place to watch it one last time. it was spectacular.
i’m pretty sure this photo is being hosted at wikimedia commons. judging by the ‘commons’ part of the name i’m assuming i’m free to post the image here. they have a ton of great photos from all around the world and of a lot of cool things. on the paris page they even have a photo of the metro stop i used nearly every day, pereire.
however, they do not have this photo below of kt and coop. i think it’s funny because we used to hold coop in all sorts of ways that couldn’t have been comfortable but he put up with us anyway. what a great dog.
i ran across this photo today while adding coop to the cast page.if you haven’t stopped by i’d like it if you would. i’ve been working to add more and more people that you see frequently on juplife to give some background if you don’t know the characters you read about.

the parents left town today. poor decision. they’re headed to florida to escape the cold. i’m not sure how long they’re gone, but i’m already lonely here by myself. you see, this is the first time they’ve left me home alone without coop. it’s just not pleasant.if you’re in the area and you want to party, you know who to call. i’m not the most exciting kid right now, but i’m sure i’ll be watching quite a few movies over the weekend.
also, for those looking for a good time tonight, stop out to the first game of the new soccer season. this time we’re in my favorite toledo town, perrysburg. we’re sure to be just as bad and just as fun as last season. here’s our schedule if for some reason you can’t make it tonight. we’re the ‘A-Team’. don’t ask.

coop amato, best dog ever: 1 week celebration

it’s been a week since coop died. i still miss him too much. i constantly look to his bed for him, expect to see him when i come home, wait for him to finish the last bite of my sandwiches, and put the trash on the counter. i still can’t believe he’s gone. and i don’t want to.
in honor of coop, i vowed not to get full today. i had a hearty breakfast of eggs and toast, and chipotle and half a bagel sandwich for lunch. i can’t wait for dinner. what do you think coop would want me to eat.
