chris dyer and the st. francis fighting knights take on st. ed’s this saturday in the state hockey semifinals in columbus. i’ll be attending. who’s joining us.
below is a snippet of the game recap after sfs beat northview this past weekend to advance.
St. Francis de Sales senior forward Chris Dyer was the difference-maker again as he led the Knights’ charge into the semifinals of the state hockey tournament.
Dyer scored two goals, including the game-winner on a superb individual effort, in a 3-1 win over Northview in the district final last night at Tam O’Shanter.
St. Francis trailed 1-0 after one period, but Dyer tied it midway through the second. He then beat three Wildcat defenders and netted the decisive goal with 10:17 left.
St. Francis (19-13-4) will play Lakewood St. Edward in the state semifinal next Saturday in Columbus. St. Eds beat Cleveland St. Ignatius 2-0 last night.
“We would not be here without him,” St. Francis coach Brian Kinsella said. “Our team would play good, but we wouldn’t be as confident without him. With him in the lineup, we’re almost a goal up already. We know that his line will score at least a goal.”

remember that time pants cooked the food you like, hosted the tailgate, let you stay over night, visited you too often at school, learned how to text, took you to practice, made you feel uncomfortable when asking you about a gf or bf, cried when you left home, loved you more than should be possible. you probably do. cause it happens everyday.
