remember that time pants cooked the food you like, hosted the tailgate, let you stay over night, visited you too often at school, learned how to text, took you to practice, made you feel uncomfortable when asking you about a gf or bf, cried when you left home, loved you more than should be possible. you probably do. cause it happens everyday.

what i’m watching - man vs. wild

i’m not a big tv watcher. i mostly stick to movies. that’s changed recently though thanks to discovery. it’s the best channel available. it has the oprah hyped show planet earth. but it also has some other great ones like cash cab, mythbuster, and my personal fav, man vs. wild.
man vs. wild stars bear grylls, an absolute beast. the show involves him being dropped off in remote places and surviving with very little supplies.
just today i’ve seen him eat a snake, drink the moisture out of elephant dung, tear open a zebra with his teeth and eat it, kill a rabbit with a stick, and try to ride a wild horse. check out all of the other crazy things he’s done on the man vs wild wikipedia.
man vs wild is a tivo must. and you need to check out his clips on youtube. enjoy this one below.

kt takes a page out of nate’s book

kt has been fraternizing with uncle nathan too much lately. she was supposed to fly out of detroit today to fort meyers for spring break. for some reason she wasn’t scheduled to fly out today. the airline told her that her flight was next friday. oops.
good thing mikey is a beast. kt called me to check travelocity and then mikey for help. well she shouldn’t have wasted her time with me. mikey came right in and fixed things. i think next time i’m flying somewhere i’ll just pretend to get a ticket and then have mikey haggle my way in. since mikey seems to have passed on the bald gene i hope he passes on the kick ass magical haggling gene too.
fyi, in doing some quick searches this morning to find alternative flights for kt, i found that the best one for cheap flights is sidestep. sidestep searches all of the online travel sites and let’s you know what they are charging. it’s the best and easiest way to search all of the sites (orbitz, priceline, northwest, travelocity, etc.) at once. thanks for the tip sheva.
