remember that time pants cooked the food you like, hosted the tailgate, let you stay over night, visited you too often at school, learned how to text, took you to practice, made you feel uncomfortable when asking you about a gf or bf, cried when you left home, loved you more than should be possible. you probably do. cause it happens everyday.
i took a few videos when i was in los angeles visiting pat and figured you might want to see them. because if you’re here you must oddly be interested in the life of rohn. so here we go…
pat has an unnatural ability to function on very little sleep. on saturday he woke up at 4 am for his tri. he finished an olympic tri in very solid fashion, came home, then went and sold shirts with me at the coliseum. by the time we get back to santa monic, pat’s already working on a 14 hour day. clearly the fun, and the second half, is just beginning so we watched the second half. the night culminated in pat falling asleep on the couch at 2 am. pretty impressive. it also allowed me to sleep in his bed.
pat has some great friends. near the top is eric king. the video explains why better than anything i could write.
there are several reasons why pat doesn’t mind the long hours he works. high on the list is his boss. this is him, paul.
the smith’s of encino had two children that are polar opposites. the eldest and most afro haired, brian thomas, is very parental. here he shows you how to eat bbq like it’s corn.
finally, is the video of the mount moriah baptist church. this is the most unreasonable man ever. they double parked pat’s car, and at least 3 other’s, in during the osu usc game, claiming it had never happened before. when we told them that we needed to leave, the claimed no responsibility and wouldn’t pay for our cab ride back to santa monica which was a $60 cab. i don’t understand how a church could act this way. watching this video still makes me upset. i’m posting this with the hope that it will damage the reputation of this church. hey, i’m young and emotional. i take things too personal still.
shortly after the video of focker and sanfor tatum dancing at the youngstown state game hit the youtube, i received an email requesting i add the video to an online fan contest at fandome.com. since i didn’t star in the video i first got focker’s permission to post it. that wasn’t too hard since the winner gets a free wii and focker loves free.
since we all appreciate focker’s help at the games and incredible dance moves, please stop by the contest at fandome.com and give his video a thumbs up. here’s the link:
just finished a major update to jupmode.com tonight. toledo.com has been helping me with it for a while and we finally went live.
jack pav and the tressel onesie
i’m pretty excited about this because it really expands the product base. we’ve been selling the gray vests, and onesies and youth and toddler sizes for a few weeks now, so it’s great to finally offer them online. the onesies are a huge hit and people really like that we have gray sizes as well.
last friday some new grocery tote bags were delivered. they’re only $4 and jackie green sold quite a few at the game saturday. one lady even bought 11. this green movement is a big deal and i think we’re filling a big void here. i mean, it’s only $4.
the ohio state grocery tote bag
there are a few other great (obviously great) items on jupmode. alissa weaver designed an andy warhol-esque brutus buckeye shirt that is very cool as well.
so when you get a chance, check out the new site. let me know if you have any criticisms or suggestions. i need them. and don’t forget to pass it on to your osu friends.
