this photo of josh mccarthy was taken by yours truly last halloween. he does a pretty good stone cold steve austin impersonation, eh.
as many of you know, i’m a big fan of deadspin. deadspin is the premeire sports website on the internet. wrestling is in the realm of sports. so when an article about someone who posed as stone cold at a wal-mart in indiana hit the deadspin radar, they went searching for an image of a fake stone cold to include in the article. i’m not sure how, but they ended up on my flickr page and used the image above for the post.
this has become my favorite post ever. i can’t help but laugh because josh dressed in a ridiculous costume showed up on a website that gets millions of viewers. i hope josh laughs when he finds out about it.
maybe next time deadspin covers mexican wrestling they’ll use a photo of me.

can you tell i’m absolutely terrified that i’m holding a real baby human life in my hands. i hope so, cause i was nervous as shite. baby do that to me, i guess.
for those that missed out, this is jack pavlick, katie (formerly poz) and matt pav’s first son. this was the first time i met him. he has a huge dome. dr poz is absolutely mad about him. chuck enjoyed him quite a bit too. the women mostly talked in high tones around him. i’m not there yet.

i was invited to the ohio state alumni club of lucas county lunch today. their featured guest was university president, e. gordon gee. i didn’t know much about the man before today. let me tell it to you this way: gordo is absolutely stellar. he’s this nice, little, funny, bow-tied man who loves OSU, his students, and probably everything else about life. OSU is made a brilliant decision by bringing him back and they are so fortunate that he wanted to come back. every university president should attend the school of gordon gee to learn how to manage a school and serve its students, alumni, and fans.
he also said he’s a big fan of the sweater vest t-shirt. maybe i should make one with a bow tie on it for him.
