it was an exciting weekend here in holland. dr’s fall break was winding down, we had drinks with paulie at bunkers, nate came to town, i went back to macqueen’s orchard, haunted houses with dywuan, and there were halloween parties.
i did quite a job building up my costume by not telling most people what i was going as. it made me a little nervous and when game time came around i wasn’t sure if it would live up to my hype. fortunately it did. i like it quite a bit. that’s why there are so many pictures of me on this post and why i went over to nate’s house for pictures before going out.
for those that are still confused, i was a luchador a la nacho libre. i just had to keep one of the masks that i bought in mexico for myself. i couldn’t let the brothers have all of the fun. and besides, think of all of the great days i’ll get to wear this outfit. like cinco de mayo, halloween, and, um, wednesdays.

little boy came out with me on saturday. for those that can’t quite make out his costume, those are chickens on his clothes. that makes him a “chick magnet”. sadly, his mom bought chicks, not cats.

we headed over to a party hosted by lindsay kolb, held at jt’s boss’s home. mcgurk smoothly guided us there and luckily accompanied us in since i felt like quite the ass. amazingly, mcgurk made his mugatu costume himself. a little glue, spray paint, old clothes and viola, we have a bona fide mugatu. i was thoroughly impressed with his costume making skills.
josh mccarthy went as another wrestler, stone cold steve austin.he did not last long in our cage match.
another troubling part of the costume was the lack of pockets. as most of you know, i really enjoy taking photos. however, the only pocket i kind of had was in my underwear. that meant little boy had to carry my id (passport since i misplaced my wallet once again over the weekend), money, camera, and phone for most of the night. praise the lord for little boy.

remember that time pants cooked the food you like, hosted the tailgate, let you stay over night, visited you too often at school, learned how to text, took you to practice, made you feel uncomfortable when asking you about a gf or bf, cried when you left home, loved you more than should be possible. you probably do. cause it happens everyday.

woowhoo! thanks for coming to the party… great costume~ many accolades from my friends
hope you had fun
nice farmer’s tan.
i was wondering when someone was going to notice that. i think it was a little more less noticeable in person. either that or my friends are afraid to make fun of me. unlikely on second thought though, since i did see alissa weaver that night.
