it was a crazy weekend in t-town city. two events were the highlights for dr and me: the ginter open and dr’s birthday.
as mentioned before, this was the 21st annual ginter open. dr and i snuck in because of the great jabo. unfortunately for dr, he didn’t make the cut to appear on jabo’s team. at least he got a few cool shirts and bottles of wine out of it. this event once again proved our amazing ability to golf for free. in exchange for the round of golf and food, i was the official photographer for the event. it’s something i’ve never done before but i was happy to do it. i take so many pictures anyway it was about time someone called me official for a day. as always it was a great time with jabo and fam. can’t wait until next year.
dr’s birthday really couldn’t have been better. he golfed on saturday, watched some rob and big, got lots of free shots at night, slept through wimbledon, swam at the pozes, returned to strose, and had family dinner.
his celebration saturday night went really well for a 21st – except they didn’t check his id. we went to six pack on the river. it was my first time there and apparently it’s the place to be. we went to meet up with shannon and lindsay conrad but ran into lindsay kolb, jenny walenzac, lori, bree, and helvey first. other superstars in attendance included rusting, ceddrick, nic, josh sinift, sanchez, mike shrader, knak, kaighin, corey christie, beautiful dawn, blake haudan, forrester, and probably some more. great to have some many people to buy you drinks on your 21st though. dr kept it in check too, if not for that early round of golf to tire him out.
i highly recommend checking out all of the pictures from the weekend. i took close to 800 so it should keep you busy for a while. i’ll get the videos up soon.
remember that time pants cooked the food you like, hosted the tailgate, let you stay over night, visited you too often at school, learned how to text, took you to practice, made you feel uncomfortable when asking you about a gf or bf, cried when you left home, loved you more than should be possible. you probably do. cause it happens everyday.
