i’m not sure if you noticed the small change to the website over the weekend, but if you check the url you’ll see that i no longer have the blogspot. i finally have my own domain: juplife.com. that means you can update all of your bookmarks/favorites from juplife.blogspot.com to juplife.com. you’ll be forwarded from the blogspot still.
lucky for me, when the idea first came up between dr and i, we noticed that nic hennings had already bought it. he was nice enough to transfer it to me. and here we are, good to go, 60 days and a few dozen calls to godaddy customer service later (i think you should know, godaddy has the best customer service ever).
i’m pretty excited about this. i see it as a personal branding. search google for juplife and who do you find? me. i even made some juplife cards on vista print. they have most of my online presence on them so someone can find anything they want about me. i want people to be able to know just about everything about me and be ok with that.
the next step is adding additional pages to this site. tomorrow i have a dreamweaver course where i’ll hopefully be able to learn how this is done. hopefully. i’d like to add an about page and links page. just to make things easier and not so complicated on the right side.
in other news, i sold a dozen clausen for heisman shirts to the dude at the mall today. almost makes up for the fear the fupa blunder. i also spent the weekend working for jupiter. it was the first time this season. i always enjoy getting back in the truck and playing in the dirt. hopefully nic has more work for me.
cinco de mayo was way cooler in france.
remember that time pants cooked the food you like, hosted the tailgate, let you stay over night, visited you too often at school, learned how to text, took you to practice, made you feel uncomfortable when asking you about a gf or bf, cried when you left home, loved you more than should be possible. you probably do. cause it happens everyday.

Having your own domain name makes your site that much more credible. The cost is usually not much, so it’s a worthy investment. I’m glad you saw the value!
