pat, dr, and i are awesome dudes.
for years, pat and dr kept their hair lighter than normal with extra dye. pants had no problem with this. one time in high school i gave the hair dye a try. i went black. pants was not pleased.
the three of us enjoy being so cool that three years ago over winter break, we hatched a new plan to make pants happy. it involved me dyeing my hair blond so that we would look more similar than we already do. i concluded that the most covert way to do this would be to stay overnight at neil’s. so while hanging with neil and nate, we put some yellow in my hair.
when i returned home in the morning with my blond locks, pants was a little confused. she asked me where i had been. this question surprised me since she knew i spent the night at neil’s. when i reminded her of this she screamed, “i thought you were pat!” things got better when mikey had an amato father/son conference where he asked all three of us if we had forgotten our last name. yes, it was just as funny when it happend as it sounds. the fun didn’t last though. my hair was changed back to its normal shade within a few days.
pat found the picture above while going through his stuff this weekend and i felt compelled to scan and post it to prove, contrary to pants’ memory and insistence, my hair was not orange.
the picture below is a reminder that pat, dr, and i still dress alike, and are very sweet dudes.
remember that time pants cooked the food you like, hosted the tailgate, let you stay over night, visited you too often at school, learned how to text, took you to practice, made you feel uncomfortable when asking you about a gf or bf, cried when you left home, loved you more than should be possible. you probably do. cause it happens everyday.
